Renowned Chef of Deng G fame to serve up his special menu from June 13 – 16 2018. Think Sichuan cuisine, then think again. Chef Deng Hua-dong has been educating tastebuds in China and most recently with his Deng G restaurant in Hong Kong, about what Sichuan really means when it comes to delicious food. Now he will be serving up his creative twist on real authentic Sichuan food at The Hong Kong Jockey Club from June 13 - 16, where he has been invited to come and cook and enlighten the members.
To Chef Deng, Sichuan food is not so much about mouth-numbing heat from the special Sichuan peppercorns, but more the variety of flavours and precise seasoning. During his 4-day residency at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, he will also be pairing his dishes with German Riesling wines on Saturday June 16, for some inspired combinations.
